On Friday, November 22, 2024, Nicomatic marked a new milestone in its commitment to local education by donating an assembly machine to Lycée Charles Poncet in Cluses, Haute-Savoie. This event, held in the presence of local officials, regional representatives, high school students, teachers, and partners such as the connected campus initiative and the company M²O, reflects Nicomatic's dedication to actively contributing to the development of tomorrow's industrial skills.
A Commitment to Supporting Tomorrow's Talent
This machine, developed in collaboration with M²O, was initially used in Nicomatic’s production workshops. Now, it serves as a unique educational tool for students in technical programs such as BTS CRSA (Design and Production of Automated Systems) and STI2D (Sciences and Technologies of Industry and Sustainable Development). Equipped with innovative and fully operational technologies, it allows students to develop practical skills aligned with current industrial needs.
A Comprehensive Approach to Engagement
This donation is part of the "Plan d’Investissement d’Avenir" (Investment for the Future Plan), a government-supported program aimed at fostering the continuous transformation of industrial professions. Nicomatic’s support extends beyond Lycée Charles Poncet; the company is also actively engaged with other institutions, such as Lycée CECAM in Saint-Jeoire. As part of the TOP FAB project, Nicomatic funded the acquisition of a new machine for this school, giving students the opportunity to train and practice with modern industrial tools. These partnerships highlight a cohesive strategy to strengthen ties between businesses and educational institutions while supporting the upskilling of younger generations.
